I'm no Doc but are you satisfied with the explanation for why you need another surgery so soon? Is yor Doc chasing a symptom and not finding and correcting the cause? Fair questions I think.
Either way, best to you. Nothing but good thoughts from Mando coming your way.
And of course, it's sappy, but we are one big dysfunctional, sappy lot aren't we?

I agree that they should run some kind of "Buy 1 Get 1" on this, but the powers that be don't seem to be offering.
Basically, both replacements done in 2007 used a prosthetic that relied on the bone growth to hold them in place. Unfortunately, that didn't work too well. Th revisions use a screw the hold the socket in place. Since the right hip was revised back in March, it is doing great. Now the left one needs the same type of revision. I am not too happy with this outcome, but I don't believe the doctor did anything wrong. Ultimately, I think there was a some kind of compatibility issues between the prosthetic and my body.

I'll remember to send you good wishes ,Doginapile! My doctor wants me tochek if I should get hip surgery done too ,bt I refuse to do it , even tho it hurts tremendously ,ad even tho my doctor is really great .Scared ,yes that scares me ,and I don't know why !
